Oncology Nurse Job St Francis Community Hospital Nairobi, Kenya

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other prescribed oncology treatments.
• Monitor patients for treatment side effects and adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, symptom management, and self-care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care.
• Adhere to infection prevention, medication safety, and oncology nursing protocols.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid nursing registration and current practicing license.
• Higher Diploma or specialized training in Oncology Nursing is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an oncology or cancer care setting (preferred).
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification
