Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) or Bachelor of
- Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Valid, up-to-date registration and practicing license with the Nursing Council of
- Kenya (NCK)
- Minimum three (3) years’ of oncology, medical-surgical, or acute care experience
- preferred
- Higher Diploma/Certificate in Oncology Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS a plus
- Strong communication skills and a calm, empathetic bedside manner
- Must be a born again and committed Christian with evidence of maturity in faith.
- Must be an honest person full of integrity in their personal conduct and handling
- of job responsibilities.
- The job holder must have clear understanding of emotional, psychological, and
- social state of people and offer sensitive and tactful support.
- Must demonstrate high integrity and ethical practice.
- Must demonstrate ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Must be a team player who is able to work cordially in teams.
- Must have the ability to communicate for both written and oral communication.
- Must have knowledge in use of MS office packages.
