Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Effectively manage Ocean Export LCL and FCL shipments from start to finish
- Prepare and process all export documentation including Bills of Lading, Commercial and Certificates of Origin.
- Ensure all documentation complies with customer, carrier, & regulatory requirements.
- Follow SOP’s and update accordingly
- Submitting VGM through CNS & Destin8
- Prepare and complete full export documentation and sending prealerts within set KPI
- Ensure compliance with export control regulations inlcuding AMS / ACI / ISF
- Sending EDI bookings and SI to carriers
- FCL and LCL Quotations upon request
- Manage multiple shipments simultaneously, ensuring accuracy & adherence to deadlines
- Resolve any issues related to documentation, cargo readiness, delays, or carrier disputes.
- Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance policies
- Meeting financial end of month deadlines both accruals and sales invoices
Authorities
- Authorised to perform responsibilities autonomously, using initiative to escalate any material impact to the business, as appropriate.
- Identify any opportunities for improvements in overall service quality and business safety.
Qualifications / Experience
- +3 years of detailed experience of logistics and forwarding operations/regulations and documentation
- Preferable a professional degree by a licensed educational institution specialized in logistics and forwarding.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications and /or other market leading software applications.
