Nutrition And Dietetic Technician III Job. Medical Jobs in Kenya
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implementing nutrition programmes.
- Providing nutrition services in health care facilities.
- Conducting nutrition assessments.
- Collecting and compiling nutrition data.
- Counselling of patients with specific nutritional needs.
- Monitoring preparation of therapeutic feeds.
- Implementing outpatient and inpatient supplementary and therapeutic feeding programmes.
- Promoting maternal, infant and young children feeding programmes.
- Providing micronutrient supplementation.
Requirement for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: –
- Diploma in Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition or Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized training institution.
- Certificate in Computer Application Skills from recognized institution.
- Registration by the Council of the Institute of Nutrition’s and Dieticians.
