Makini School Cambridge Curriculum is seeking a dynamic and experienced Music Teacher. The successful candidate should also be able to actively encourage and facilitate the formation of each student’s moral character, unique skills, capacities and talents through continuous improvement in ensuring quality education.

Key Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • At least five years demonstrable teaching experience in a recognized International School, preferably one delivering Cambridge Assessment International Education.
  • Bachelor of Education (Arts) degree with specialisation in Music from a recognised institution.
  • Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

Skills, knowledge, abilities & values:

  • Demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of current educational issues relating to the specialist subject areas.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Embrace team spirit.
  • Ability to work with a diverse student body.
  • Self-driven.
  • Be willing to inspire, challenge, motivate and empower students.
