Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that the mortuary equipment and other machinery are in the figllt Condition and functioning properly.
- Provide proper record keeping and provide custody of all documentation at the mortuary.
- Receive, prepare, preserve and dispatch bodies to the family members.
- Prepare bodies for burial by cleaning and embalming them.
- Maintain the proper cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation of the mortuary in the hospital.
Requirements for Appointment
- Certificate in mortuary Science from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of relevant legislations.
- Knowledge of professional standard.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
