Minimum Requirements
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- diploma in mortuary science
- KCSE D (Plain) complete a period of apprenticeship, and pass a licensing exam
- Be a member of a registered funeral professional association
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong English and Swahili language skills
- Training in embalming and grief counseling. Proficiency in computer skills
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collecting and receiving bodies within the hospital and outside through the prescribedprocedures.
- Recording bodies received.
- Washing the bodies, embalming, and refrigeration.
- Scrubbing and assisting in post mortems.
- Counselling the relatives.
- Releasing the bodies to the relatives as per the laid procedures’
