Looking for an IT job in Kenya? Startup Lions ICT Campus is hiring an ML Cohort Guide skilled in machine learning instruction, data science mentorship, technical curriculum facilitation, and hands-on project guidance.
Role Purpose
The ML Cohort Guide is responsible for delivering core learning modules, guiding students in both technical and professional skills, and ensuring high-quality facilitation aligned with the Mobile LEAP curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions.
- Provide one-on-one academic and emotional support to learners.
- Monitor student progress throughout the cohort.
- Offer constructive feedback and encouragement to motivate learners.
- Report student performance and concerns to the Cohort Captain.
- Assist in organizing outputs and learning evaluations.
Qualifications
- Graduated from Bootcamp training program level
- Successfully completed the TTT program and have been a Coach in at least two Mobile LEAP Cohorts.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to mentor students, Apprentices and Coaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Nice to have
- Experience in writing online content
- Additional languages
- Google Adwords experience
- Strong analytical skills
