Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs on time.
- Overhaul, install, and align mechanical components including motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and compressors.
- Conduct routine inspections to detect wear and prevent breakdowns.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and spare parts usage.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with electrical and production teams to improve equipment reliability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Maintenance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment (experience in a ceramics or heavy manufacturing plant is an added advantage).
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
