Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Technician based in Kirinyaga County, Kenya. The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing routine equipment maintenance, conducting preventive maintenance to keep machinery operating efficiently, and diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions. Additionally, they will execute repairs, ensure safe operation of equipment, and contribute to the smooth functioning of production processes within our facility.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair tasks within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance to ensure consistent and efficient machinery performance
- Strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical or mechanical issues
- Knowledge or prior experience with safety standards and practices related to mechanical work
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow structured protocols
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 yrs previous experience in a production or manufacturing setting
- Commitment to upholding safety, quality, and ethical standards
