Mechanic Heavy Commercial Job AGL
Looking for an engineering job in Kenya? Africa Global Logistics is hiring a Mechanic – Heavy Commercial to undertake preventive and corrective maintenance on trucks, trailers and other machines. The role is based in Nairobi and experience in a diploma in engineering is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess requirement and propose in consultation with workshop manager the specifications for parts and materials needed and duration of the repairs and maintenance
- Carry out assigned mechanical works
- Undertake preventive and corrective maintenance on trucks, trailers and other machines
- Account for materials and parts used
- Carry out general cleanliness of the mechanical section and its environs
- Observe security and safety measures of all tools, parts, materials and equipment under his/her care.
- Rescue trucks on transit on need basis
