We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual with a background in marketing, who is ready to begin a journey and exciting challenge to help get our business up and running. This will be the first full-time marketing job hire within the company, so the successful applicant will be working alongside the owner and will be part of growing the team, regarding future staff and the business in general. The role will be supported by additional part-time staff, both in the UK and Tanzania. The job will 100% remote and based on outcome and not tied to working hours and days. The successful applicant will need to assist in all areas of marketing of our product range. This will include working with the new sales manager to assist the company on its export journey outside of the UK and expanding into international markets.

  • To manage the social media accounts for the business.
  • Build and implement a marketing strategy to grow and boost the profile of our products and our company brand.
  • Co-manage our e-commerce platforms with the sales executive to ensure our products are listed and available on a variety of platforms. E.g Amazon and online platforms
  • Assist with all areas of digital, content, brand, PR & email marketing
  • Any ad hoc requirements that may come as part of being a new company.

Qualifications:

  • MUST be fluent in written & spoken English, with a persona that matches that of the company brand (information on our website)
  • Required to be very hardworking and determined. Working in a start-up company in this field will require lots of dedication and patience.
  • Experience of working in a broad marketing role, ideally in retail, wholesale & export. Experience in the drinks industry is desirable.
  • Experience in managing social media accounts, such as Facebook and Instagram, in a business capacity.
  • Tech-savvy and must be able to make use of a range of AI automation tools. As a small company, we need to be as resourceful as possible.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and interested in growing with an exciting start-up company. Wanting to progress as the business expands.
  • Friendly and personable to build business relationships as the ‘face’ of the company and to work as part of our ‘family team’.
  • Must be very well presented, spoken and sociable, as the role will require networking and projecting the company in the premium segment of the market.
