Marketing Manager Job – Heavy Equipment Job

Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports to: General Manager
Location: Head Office.

Senior management role with autonomy to develop and execute sales strategies, tactical plans, and marketing initiatives for the heavy-duty equipment segment (tractors, generators, forklifts).
Lead all sales efforts, guide the team to achieve targets, and drive our clients’ brand growth in industrial and agricultural markets.

  • Planning and Budgeting: Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans; assist in yearly budget and strategic planning; ensure accurate CRM data.
  • Execution and Oversight: Plan and supervise daily/weekly service and sales activities; ensure timely, high-quality completion; oversee dealer and VIP customer engagement.
  • Sales Targets and Stock: Achieve/exceed targets; collaborate on stock planning and procurement two quarters ahead.
  • Product Analysis: Manage tractor, generator, and forklift models; forecast and analyze profitability; align with service offerings.
  • Team Leadership: Provide direction to sales team; support branch sales for improved performance; foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • CRM & Compliance: Maintain data integrity; ensure ERP familiarity; uphold SOPs and ethics.
  • Customer Engagement: Plan/trade shows, conduct customer visits, deliver presentations, and provide after-sales support.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer: Deliver technical/customer training; contribute to training plans.
  • Safety and Ethics: Enforce safety, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or
  • related field (Engineering preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar industry with heavy equipment sales experience (tractors, generators, forklifts).
  • Certifications: Advanced certificate/Diploma in Marketing/Business Administration/Engineering preferred.
  • Honest, professional, customer-focused; excellent communication and presentation; strong
  • MS Office, CRM/ERP proficiency; analytical and organized; target-driven.

  • Self-motivated, ethical, collaborative, and results-oriented.
  • Willing to work long hours when required and manage multiple priorities.

Location / Working Time
Working Place: Workshop and field sites; on-site commissioning as required
Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm; on-site and after-hours as needed
