Job Description
- A leading company in the animal health and nutrition sector is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing Manager to drive market growth and increase product penetration within the Mt. Kenya region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement demand creation activities targeting small-scale and medium-scale dairy farms.
- Organize and oversee farmer trainings, demonstrations, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Build strong partnerships with farmer groups, dairy cooperatives, agro-dealers, veterinarians, and other industry stakeholders.
- Support the growth of medium-scale farm business within the assigned territory.
- Monitor field activities and evaluate their impact on sales performance.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence and competitor activity.
- Maintain an updated database of key dairy farms and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Animal Health or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales or marketing within the animal health or livestock sector.
- Strong understanding of the dairy industry within the Mt. Kenya region.
- Valid membership with the Kenya Veterinary Board is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Team player with strong planning and execution skills.
- Self-driven and results-oriented.
