Position Summary

The Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for executing marketing initiatives, fostering meaningful engagement with KIKE Connect’s growing community, coordinating events, and supporting the successful delivery of member-focused programs.

Working closely with the Marketing Director and  COO/CEO, the successful candidate will help bring marketing campaigns to life, strengthen member relationships, coordinate activations and events, and support business development initiatives through research and proposal preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Brand Execution

  • Execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Coordinate and manage social media content calendars.
  • Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
  • Support the creation of marketing collateral, newsletters, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare basic marketing reports.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.

Community Engagement

  • Build and nurture relationships with KIKE Connect members.
  • Respond to member enquiries across various communication channels.
  • Coordinate member onboarding and engagement initiatives.
  • Drive participation in programs, workshops, networking events, and campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate member communication and engagement records.
  • Gather member feedback and recommend improvements to enhance the community experience.

Events & Activations

  • Plan and coordinate workshops, networking sessions, exhibitions, product launches, and community events.
  • Liaise with venues, vendors, facilitators, speakers, and service providers.
  • Coordinate event logistics before, during, and after each event.
  • Manage participant registration and communication.
  • Support event branding and promotional activities.
  • Prepare post-event reports and evaluation summaries.

Marketing Administration

  • Maintain marketing calendars and activity schedules.
  • Organize and maintain marketing assets and promotional materials.
  • Prepare campaign reports and activity updates.
  • Maintain marketing databases and records.
  • Track project timelines and ensure timely execution of assigned activities.

Partnerships & Business Development Support

  • Support engagement with partners, sponsors, and strategic stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and stakeholder communications.
  • Conduct research to support partnership opportunities and business development initiatives.
  • Support the preparation of partnership proposals, presentations, sponsorship decks, and business development materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of partnership opportunities and ongoing engagements.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to ensure timely delivery of partnership and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in marketing, communications, community engagement, customer experience, or events coordination.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience coordinating events, activations, or community initiatives will be an added advantage.
