Manufacturing Accountant Job (80K – 100K)
Manufacturing Accountant Job, African Labour Solutions
Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking to hire a Manufacturing Accountant to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting of production-related costs, materials, and outputs. This role involves verifying daily production records, managing the ERP manufacturing module, and conducting financial reconciliations to support cost control and efficiency in manufacturing operations.
Location: Nairobi – Enterprise Road | Salary: Ksh. 80,000 – 100,000 (gross)

Key Responsibilities
- Verify and post daily production outputs in the ERP system.
- Validate daily raw material consumption against production records.
- Maintain and update BOMs in the ERP system based on approved formulations.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure BOMs align with actual production processes.
- Identify gaps or inefficiencies in the ERP production module and recommend corrective actions.
- Research and implement continuous improvements in system utilization.
- Coordinate training and support for team members using the production module.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts related to manufacturing.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on production costs, overheads, and losses for all products.
- Ensure proper system access rights and permissions for users of the production module.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and compliance.
Assist in preparing audit schedules and reports for external auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- KCSE B+ and above
- CPA/ACCA Finalist or equivalent professional qualification.
- 1+ Years of experience in a Manufacturing/Audit Firm.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
