Business Strategy & Growth

  • Develop business strategy and oversee implementation of the country budget. 
  • Drive revenue, profitability, and sustainable business growth within the country. 
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Bank’s marketing strategy within the country. 
  • Champion business development initiatives to deliver measurable impact on the Bank’s bottom line. 
  • Enhance the Bank’s brand visibility across international markets.

 Business Performance & Operations 

  • Accountable for achieving key business targets, including deposit growth, customer acquisition, market penetration, and branch expansion. 
  • Analyze periodic mandatory reports submitted by Regional Directors to inform decision-making. 
  • Oversee key business processes to support efficient delivery of commercial objectives.

People Management & Leadership

  • Lead and manage all staff within the country to drive value creation, business volume, and profitability. 
  • Foster a high-performance culture with focus on employee engagement, low attrition, and staff satisfaction.

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and group standards across all country operations. 
  • Leverage strong knowledge of banking products and services to support compliant and data-driven decision-making. 
  • A First Degree is required; a Master’s degree, MBA, or relevant professional certifications are highly desirable. 
  • Minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience, with at least 7 years in a senior management role. 
  • Proven track record in business development, revenue growth, and team leadership within the banking sector. 
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and financial management.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen with proven ability to drive business performance. 
  • Deep understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory frameworks. 
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problemsolving capabilities. 
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams, manage change, and foster diversity. 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. 
  • High levels of professionalism, innovation, and effective resource management.
