Position Summary
Business Strategy & Growth
- Develop business strategy and oversee implementation of the country budget.Â
- Drive revenue, profitability, and sustainable business growth within the country.Â
- Lead the development and implementation of the Bank’s marketing strategy within the country.Â
- Champion business development initiatives to deliver measurable impact on the Bank’s bottom line.Â
- Enhance the Bank’s brand visibility across international markets.
Business Performance & Operations
- Accountable for achieving key business targets, including deposit growth, customer acquisition, market penetration, and branch expansion.Â
- Analyze periodic mandatory reports submitted by Regional Directors to inform decision-making.Â
- Oversee key business processes to support efficient delivery of commercial objectives.
People Management & Leadership
- Lead and manage all staff within the country to drive value creation, business volume, and profitability.Â
- Foster a high-performance culture with focus on employee engagement, low attrition, and staff satisfaction.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and group standards across all country operations.Â
- Leverage strong knowledge of banking products and services to support compliant and data-driven decision-making.Â
Academic/Professional qualifications and Experience:
- A First Degree is required; a Master’s degree, MBA, or relevant professional certifications are highly desirable.Â
- Minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience, with at least 7 years in a senior management role.Â
- Proven track record in business development, revenue growth, and team leadership within the banking sector.Â
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and financial management.

- Deep understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory frameworks.Â
