  • Develop and manage the comprehensive annual Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule to ensure full completion within time and budget.
  • Optimize equipment performance per SOPs, focusing on product quality and achieving all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure routine calibration and maintenance for all electro- mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Lead the introduction of new machinery, from drawing up specifications and managing suppliers to full installation. Implement daily/weekly checks and schedule internal/external work to maximize planned and reduce unplanned downtime. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve machine issues and proactively manage dysfunctional machinery with shift management.
  • Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend and manage the departmental budget and Capital Expenditure (CapEx).
  • Ensure all designated buildings, plant, and facilities are fit for purpose and provide proactive support.
  • Manage and maintain high standards of systems and equipment data storage and accuracy.
  • Identify and implement business and continuous improvement opportunities within the organization.
  • Conduct risk assessments of departmental processes and tasks and ensure contractor compliance on site.
  • Manage the process for disposal of obsolete machinery safely and lawfully.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Maintenance team, setting objectives and conducting performance appraisals.
  • Ensure timely machine repairs and collaboration with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
  • Prepare and analyze weekly ROI and monthly ROPE reports and attend all required technical and management meetings.
  • 10-15 years of experience in a continuous manufacturing plant.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a managerial position. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Computer literacy, especially proficient in MS Office suite. Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and diagrams for effective fault finding.
  • Conversant with world-class manufacturing practices (e.g., TPM, Lean).
