Our client is the management arm of the overall group providing strategic oversight over the Group’s commercial interests which span multiple industries including real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, mining etc.

The company has direct oversight over the Group’s investment vehicles and real estate assets which typically are World Class ‘A Grade’ commercial and residential establishments strategically situated in prime locations.

Role overview

The Manager – Corporate Finance, Investments & Research (CFR) will be a key driver of the Group’s financial strategy, investment decision-making, and market intelligence. The role requires expertise in corporate finance transactions, investment analysis, and market research. The successful candidate will combine strong execution capabilities with strategic insight to support growth, optimize capital allocation and deliver high-quality analysis for internal and external stakeholders.

This role will cover:

• Corporate finance and transactions (capital raising, refinancing and M&A)
• Investments (evaluation, portfolio monitoring and exits/reinvestment)
• Research & market intelligence (industry trends, macroeconomic analysis and competitor insights)
• Stakeholder engagement (boards, senior management teams, investors, lenders, advisors, regulators)

Key responsibilities

• Corporate finance and transactions
• Lead preparation of detailed financial models, valuations and scenario analyses to support corporate initiatives.
• Execute capital raising (debt and equity), refinancing and other strategic financing
• Support M&A activities including due diligence, structuring, documentation review and deal
• Prepare board papers, investment memoranda and senior management
• Investments
• Evaluate new investment opportunities through rigorous financial and strategic
• Monitor and report on portfolio performance against benchmarks and investment
• Provide insights on portfolio optimization, exit options and reinvestment
• Research and market intelligence
• Lead research across relevant sectors to identify industry trends, risks and
• Produce high-quality research reports and thought leadership content for decision-making and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent strongly
• 6–10 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, investment banking and/or private
• Proven track record in financial modelling, valuation, and transaction
• Strong background in investment evaluation and market
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex analysis for senior

Key Competencies

• Strategic, commercially minded thinker with strong analytical
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv etc.) is a plus.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities, including experience mentoring junior
