Manager, Asset Finance Middle Office Job

Principle Accountabilities

  • Facility Processing: Coordinate the complete lifecycle of Asset Finance and Insurance Premium Finance facilities, ensuring prompt disbursements and compliance with credit and operational policies.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the operational link between sales teams, underwriters, insurance partners, car tracking companies, dealers, and NTSA to facilitate efficient facility execution.
  • Documentation & Security Management: Oversee the tracking and perfection of security documentation, NTSA charge registration, insurance endorsements, and tracking device installations.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor loan portfolio performance, ensure timely insurance renewals, refunds, and support early identification of potential defaults to mitigate risk.
  • Process Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to internal risk, operational, and regulatory requirements, including timely reconciliation of Asset Finance-related accounts.
  • Customer Support: Provide operational support to Relationship Managers and customers by resolving queries, tracking disbursements, and supporting customer service initiatives.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely operational, portfolio tracking, and exception reports to management for decision-making.
  • Operational Improvements: Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery, reduce turnaround times, and strengthen operational controls.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Asset Finance, Insurance Premium Finance processes, and credit risk principles.
  • Excellent coordination, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of NTSA processes, insurance policies, and motor vehicle dealership operations is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of banking operational risk frameworks and regulatory compliance.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Asset Finance operations, Credit Administration, Middle Office, or Risk Management roles.
  • Experience in dealing with Motor Dealers, Insurance Companies, and NTSA-related processes preferred.
