Railway Training Institute (RTI), a department of the Kenya Railways Corporation, is one of the oldest and most prestigious training institutions in the East African region. The Institute is recognized as a Centre of Excellence in rail sector skills training. It offers commercial and technical courses in compliance with the TVET Act, 2013.

The Institute invites qualified and competent Lecturers to teach Higher Diploma, Diploma, Certificate, and Railway Professional Course on part-time basis in the posted fields.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field from a recognized university;
• Degree in Education or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or Diploma in Technical Education / Instructors’ Training Course;
• Registration and/or membership with a relevant professional body;
• TVET accreditation;
• A minimum of four (4) years’ teaching or relevant industry experience at a comparable level.
