Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and Research. (Four courses per semester)
- Setting assignments, Tests and Examinations.
- Marking assignments, Tests and examinations.
- Providing the results of assignments tests and examinations for recording.
- Supervising, Assigning duties and guidance to other colleagues in the Department.
Qualifications and skills
- PhD in Medical Microbiology or Medical Laboratory Sciences with Microbiology emphasis. MSc and BSc in Medical Laboratory Sciences with microbiology orientation. Candidates with MSc and strong PhD progress plus 5 years university teaching may be consi
- Strong in microbial culture, identification, antibiotic sensitivity testing, biosafety and aseptic techniques.
- Minimum 3 years teaching or research experience in clinical microbiology or infectious diseases.
- Must be registered and licensed by KMLTTB.
- At least 24 publication points in bacteriology, virology, antimicrobial resistance, etc.
