Responsible for teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, developing teaching materials, conducting research, supervising student research, supporting curriculum development, participating in academic meetings, and contributing to departmental activities. Requires a relevant Master’s and PhD from recognized institutions, with university teaching or research experience and strong teaching skills. The position is based in Meru and requires on-site work.

Reports to the Chair of Department.

Qualifications

• Must be a holder of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)
• Must be a holder of Master of Medicine in Anaesthesiology or its equivalent.
• The applicant must be duly registered by KMPDC (Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council) or equivalent in the EAC countries and hold a retention certificate of the KMPDC.
• Teaching experience in a medical school will be an added advantage.
