What You’ll Do:
- Lead development of Mifugo360’s core platform (React Native, Node.js, AWS).
- Oversee the Animal Health and Tracking Module, including non-invasive geo-location and biometric registration.
- Collaborate with contracted software developer to review source code and ensure compliance with KALRO and other 3rd party integrations.
- Drive post-handover innovation (e.g., new modules for market analytics).
What You Bring:
- 5+ years in full-stack development (JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native, Node.js).
- Expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS), PostgreSQL, and API integration.
- Experience with biometric systems (e.g., OpenCV) and offline-first apps.
- Leadership skills to guide a small team and coordinate with suppliers.
- Preferred: Experience with government projects (e.g., KIAMIS), AWS Certified Developer.
