One of our units, set on the fringe of a green acacia forest, overlooking the miracle Lake Oloiden, is looking for a Laundry Attendant. Naivasha Kongoni Lodge is exceptionally designed with impressive amenities, inspired by nature to savor the ancient stillness and serenity of our magnificent destination.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain industrial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, calendar, dosing machines).
- Wash, dry, fold, press, and deliver linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry to hotel standards.
- Inspect and handle fabric care, stain removal, and minor repairs.
- Manage laundry inventory, storage, and distribution.
- Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in laundry/housekeeping or related field.
- 2–4+ years proven experience in a hotel or commercial laundry environment.
- Strong knowledge of fabric care, stain removal, and industrial laundry machinery operation.
- Skilled in safe chemical handling and hygiene protocols.
- Detail-oriented, organised, physically fit, and flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
