Qualifications

For appointment to this grade,

a candidate must have a Bachelors degree in any   of the following disciplines:- Geography, Agriculture and Human Ecology Extension, Agriculture and Home Economics, Sociology or Community Development  from a university recognized in Kenya. 

Duties and Responsibilities

This will be the entry and training grade in the Land Adjudication and Settlement Officers’ cadre. Duties and responsibilities will include:-

• Checking demarcated parcel boundaries;
• Preparing adjudication records, maintaining land adjudication  and settlement records, demarcation books, case proceedings and Preliminary Index Diagrams; 
• Collecting baseline data for planning of settlement schemes;
• Preparing periodic reports in respect to the activities of a given land adjudication section or settlement scheme; and 
• Sensitizing communities on land adjudication and settlement matters
