Laboratory Technologist III Job PSCK
Technician Jobs, Public Service Commission Kenya (PSCK) Jobs. Laboratory Technologist II prepares reagents, operates analytical equipment, conducts lab tests, and ensures quality control, requires a Laboratory Sciences or Chemistry Degree/Diploma.
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Diploma in any of the following fields:-Applied Sciences (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry), Laboratory or Biotechnology from a recognized institution
Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include:-
- cleaning and Sterilizing laboratory glassware
- documenting and receiving samples for analysis;
- preparing laboratory reagents;
- preparing and analyzing geological samples, gemstones; and
- disposing Laboratory waste.
