Reports To: Trade Marketing Manager
Location: Ruiru (80% of the time will be spent in trade)
Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract

  • Trade Marketing Execution: Ensuring visibility compliance where the percentage of outlets must meet brand standards.
  • Channel and Outlet Support: Maintaining accuracy in the execution of promotions.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting: Providing effective distribution support and maintaining the POSM execution rate.
  • Distributor & Sales Team Enablement: Providing quality and timely reporting.
  • Brand Compliance & Standards: Ensuring trade visit coverage stays according to the plan.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Understanding of FMCG trade marketing principles.
  • Basic knowledge of modern trade and general trade operations in Kenya.
  • Data collection, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with beverage category dynamics is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Powerpoint.
  • Must have a valid driving licence.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in trade marketing, sales support, or related field roles within FMCG.
  • Experience in working with key distributors/retail outlets will be an added advantage.
