Essential Responsibilities

• Teach Kiswahili, Social studies and Geography.
• Be in charge of the daily administration of the class.
• Administer and mark examinations.
• Be a holistic role model to all learners in the school.
• Offer psycho-social support to learners, encourage them to attend all lessons as required.
• Support all others school activities as per Curriculum requirements.

Qualifications

• Two (02) years’ teaching experience.
• Must be certified by Teacher’s Service Commission (TSC).
• Undergraduate or Diploma Holder with a combination of Geography and Kiswahili.
• KCSE Mean Grade of C+ and above.

Key Competencies

• Excellent interpersonal skills- ability to communicate ideas with precision.
• Computer Literate.
• Ability to develop and maintain constructive working relationships with the team.
• Ability to make priorities and work under pressure for meeting deadlines.
• Conversant with Public children’s code, regulations and rights.
• Competency-Based Education (CBE) Compliant).
• Understand and comply with Teachers Service Commission code of conduct.
