We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our finance department and support the company’s daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and solid working knowledge of QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting and financial documents.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
• Monitor and reconcile petty cash transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and Kenyan tax regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
