As an IT Trainee, you will be instrumental in:

  • Providing first-line technical support, addressing user queries efficiently via phone or in-person.
  • Assisting with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, operating systems, application software, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Diligent tracking of ongoing support tasks, meticulous recording of issues, and documenting solutions.
  • Communicating incident resolutions clearly and effectively to end-users.
  • Responding to service call-outs within agreed time limits and escalating unresolved ICT incidents to senior team members when necessary.
  • Performing desktop operation and maintenance tasks, alongside various ad-hoc support assignments as directed by superiors.

  • A strong foundational understanding of IT systems and technologies.
  • An eager and proactive approach to seeking and applying knowledge, information, and IT best practices.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of handling a range of systems-related issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgment and critical thinking in assigned tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the capacity to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users, train/advise on system issues, and prepare concise documentation.
  • The ability to effectively plan and organize your own work, managing conflicting priorities with efficiency.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • No prior professional experience is required; this is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those looking for their first step into IT.
