Role Overview:-

The Interior Designer works closely with the design, production, and sales teams to develop furniture concepts and interior solutions that are functional, aesthetically appealing, and manufacturable. The role bridges creative design and practical production, ensuring designs align with client needs, brand identity, and manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Design interior layouts and furniture solutions for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects
• Develop furniture concepts, finishes, color schemes, and material specifications
• Prepare design drawings, mood boards, 3D renders, and presentations for clients
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet quality standards
• Customize furniture designs based on client requirements and space constraints
• Review prototypes, samples, and mock-ups before mass production
• Coordinate with sales and marketing teams for client pitches, showrooms, and exhibitions
• Ensure compliance with ergonomics, safety standards, and sustainability guidelines
• Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, and furniture innovations

Required Skills & Competencies:-

• Strong interior design and furniture design skills
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar)
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and production specifications
• Strong communication and client presentation skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Time management and ability to handle multiple projects

Qualifications:-

• Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, or related field
• 2–5 years’ experience in interior design or furniture manufacturing (preferred)

• Design quality and client satisfaction
• Timely delivery of design concepts and drawings
• Alignment of designs with production capabilities and budgets
• Reduction of design revisions during manufacturing
• Contribution to new product development and innovation
