Instore Sales Representative Job
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in selecting the right smartphones, laptops, tablets, accessories, and other electronic products.
- Demonstrate product features, specifications, and benefits to customers.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and store KPIs.
- Cross-sell and upsell complementary products, accessories, warranties, and value-added services.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge on the latest technology trends and product launches.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Ensure products are well displayed, priced, and the showroom remains clean and attractive.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support professionally.
- Monitor stock levels and report low inventory or fast-moving products.
- Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail sales, preferably selling smartphones, laptops, consumer electronics, or premium gadgets.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Strong understanding of current technology products and trends.
- Professional appearance with a confident and outgoing personality.
- Experience using POS systems will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends when required.
