Qualifications
- Students pursuing a degree or diploma in Journal- ism, Media Studies, Communications, Digital Com- munication or Corporate Communication who meet the requirements below are eligible to apply.
The Media Council of Kenya (MCK), in partnership with recognised media houses, runs a media industrial attachment programme designed to provide journalism and communication students with practical work experience before graduation and to prepare them for the job market.
Application Requirements
- Final-year students at a recognised university or college.
- Recommendation letter from the university/college, issued within the last two months, stating the period for which placement is required.
- Academic transcripts for the current academic year.
- Valid Student Identification Card.
- Valid MCK Student Press Card 2026.
- Mandatory sample of journalistic work (this may include published online content, school projects, etc.)
