ICT Officer (Software Developer) Job

Duties and Responsibilities
- Research, Design, Develop and test software and applications for computers
- Testing and evaluating new programs
- Identifying areas of modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
- Writing and implementing efficient code
- Maintain all software and create updates regularly for effective service delivery
Requirements for Appointment
- Be a Kenyan citizen;
- Minimum Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Mean Grade C+ or its approved equivalent;
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Computer science, Electronic &Computer Engineering, Information Technology or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Knowledge of the software development life-cycle; and,
- Experience working on a variety of software development projects.
