Information Communication Technology Officer (ICT) [2] Job

  • Be a Kenyan citizen;
  • Be a Bachelor’s degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Telecommunications or a related Field
  • Proven experience in ICT support and administration, with a strong technical background in IT systems and networks.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software components, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Professional certification (CCNA, CISSP, or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years relevant experiences in ICT
  • Analysing, designing, coding, testing, implementing computer programs providing user support;
  • Maintaining support systems and training of users;
  • Repairing and maintaining of Information Communication Technology equipment and associated peripherals;
  • Receiving, installing and certifying of Information Communication Technology equipment;
  • Configuring of new Information Communication Technology equipment.

Integrity Clearance

Successful applicants are expected to get clearance from the following bodies.

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)

Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)

Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)

Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)

Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI)

For those with higher education certificates (degrees) from outside Kenya, a letter of recognition of qualifications from the Commission of University Education.
