Responsibilities
- Infrastructure management – design, implement and maintain the hospital’s ICT infrastructure – networks, servers, hardware and software
- System optimization – oversee hospital information system (HIS), electronic health records and billing systems to ensure efficiency
- Cyber security and compliance – implement IT security policies, ensure compliance with data protection act and manage cyber security threats.
- Strategic leadership – develop IT strategies aligned with hospital strategic plan
- Manage ICT department budget
- Support and training – lead the ICT team in providing technical support and conduct staff training on system usage
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field
- At least 3 years work experience in a health care set up
- Technical skills in networking, server administration and database management
