Job Summary
The role holder is responsible for the monitoring, installation, servicing, and repair of HVAC systems in accordance with established standards to ensure optimal indoor air quality for production and other departments. The role also involves providing detailed, technical, and robust design and operational solutions to support efficient and reliable plant HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the HVAC team, including task assignment, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of all BMS and HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace faulty BMS or HVAC equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Monitor HVAC control systems via BMS for efficiency and energy optimization.
- Ensure calibration and validation of instruments and equipment as per schedule.
- Train, mentor, and guide HVAC technicians on best practices in installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Manage inventory of tools, materials, and spare parts for timely project execution.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance, service logs, and equipment history.
- Support management with maintenance updates and technical reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Must be certified in Instrumentation engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with 2 years in supervision and experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting in a factory/plant setting.
- Strong knowledge of BMS operations, calibration, and HVAC validation processes.
- Excellent leadership, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
