  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resource Officer located in Mwatate, Taita Taveta County.
  • The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for managing HR functions, developing HR policies, and maintaining employee relations.
  • Daily tasks include job description development, handling HR-related queries, conducting interviews, and overseeing the recruitment process.
  • The officer will also manage employee benefits and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • The incumbent will be reporting to the Human Resource Manager and will be entrusted with the role of advising Management on Human Resource matters.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in Human Resource.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and strong organizational skills.
  • Attentive to detail, innovative, tech- savvy, able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Membership in the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) is also an advantage.

Other Considerations:

  • Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) management and Employee Relations
  • Experience in developing HR Policies and Job Descriptions
  • Experience in the microfinance or financial services sector is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and regulations
