Requirements

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have; 

•  Cumulative service period of six (6) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) years of which should have been in the grade of Human Resource Management Assistant II or in a comparable position. 
• Diploma in Human Resource Management or relevant qualification from a recognised institution; 
• Been registered by the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM); 
• Proficiency in computer applications; and 
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Responsibilities

• Preparing draft correspondences; Preparing job advertisements in line with the job descriptions;
• Maintaining and updating the staff compliment to ensure records of the establishment are kept up to date; Updating the HR information systems data;
• Preparing timely statutory returns; Processing pension elements and other human resource administration matters for retirees and those proceeding on retirement for timely payments; and
• Implementing decisions made by the Human Resource Management Advisory Committee to ensure issues raised are addressed
