We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to join our regional team. The HR Business Partner will play a crucial role in managing various human resource functions within the organisation, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

  • Develop and implement region specific HR strategies aligned with Company’s objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewing.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Support training and development activities.
  • Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Address ad hoc requests from colleagues on HR matters.

Main requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in HR management roles, with a minimum of 4 years of management experience.
  • Very good knowledge and understanding of local employment laws of Kenya.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • An enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (oral and written).
  • Proficiency in HRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
