Housekeeper Job Nkasiri Adventure Park

Key Responsibilities:

Accommodation Cleaning:

• Thoroughly clean and prepare glamping pods, ensuring they are spotless, well-maintained, and ready for guest arrival. This includes dusting, vacuuming/mopping, cleaning bathrooms and changing linens.
• Clean and maintain common camping facilities, including shared ablution blocks (toilets and showers), ensuring they are consistently sanitized and well-stocked.
• Replenish guest supplies (toiletries, fresh linen, water) in glamping pods as per established standards.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items in accommodations promptly to the supervisor.

Health & Safety:

• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling.
• Report any safety hazards or suspicious activities to the supervisor immediately.
• .Guest Service:
• Maintain a polite, friendly, and helpful demeanor towards all guests and colleagues.
• Respond to guest requests for housekeeping services promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in hotel management with a bias to house keeping
• .Proven experience (minimum 1-2 years) as a Housekeeper in a hotel, lodge, resort, or similar hospitality environment.
• Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and methods.
• . Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards in a hospitality setting.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, honest, and trustworthy.
