Job Purpose

The candidate will ensure that society facilities occupied and used by employees, visitor, contractors and customers are maintained in accordance with the standards and guideline set creating an environment which is conducive to work and artistically pleasing.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the planning, organization and supervision of the cleaning, maintenance throughout the facilities, gardening and landscaping
• Ensure that all housekeeping and laundry services are done as per the standard policies
• Maintain an environment that promotes the health, wellness, safety of all employees, visitors, contractors and customers
• Conduct compliance audits/inspections of internal hygiene standards and document.
• Develop and audit hygiene/ laundry schedule and work instructions to ensure conformance with regular inspections and certification audits
• Develop a compliant environmental management plan for the organization

Qualifications

• Diploma in Institutional Management/ Housekeeping from recognized institution
• Minimum KCSE certificate (C- )
• 2 years’ experience in housekeeping
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and supervise staff
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and team building skills.
• Safety and hygiene awareness
