Role Purpose:
Sanlam Life is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to head its Retail business. This role will drive growth through a unified, agency-led distribution strategy across individual Life, Pensions, and Annuities.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Growth: Lead retail distribution strategy aligned with company goals for sustainable growth.
- Agency Development: Build and manage a productive nationwide agency network.
- Sales Leadership: Set and achieve sales targets, monitor performance and profitability.
- Customer Retention: Enhance customer experience and policy persistency.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient, compliant, and technology-enabled agency operations.
- Leadership & Culture: Inspire teams, promote innovation, and foster a high-performance culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years in life insurance/financial services, with 5+ years in senior distribution leadership.
- Professional certifications: ACII, IIK, LOMA.
