Githunguri Dairy Farmers Co-operative Society Ltd plays a key role in marketing of its member’s milk, which is processed and packed in the form of pouch packed fresh milk, Tetra Classic fresh milk, lala, butter, ghee and cream under the flagship of “Fresha Dairy Products”.
Githunguri Dairy Farmers Co-operative Society Ltd vision is to be a world-class producer of dairy brands, while the Mission is to offer high-quality dairy brands to our consumers efficiently for stakeholder’s value maximization.
The society invites applications from suitable candidates to fill the following vacant position.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyzing and identifying the legal risks and implications of all of the business’s transactions,
• Keeping the senior management in all departments of the business informed of developments in laws and regulations that potentially affect the business
• S/he is tasked with the implementation of key legal processes that relate to legal drafting, negotiations, and commercial settlement agreements.
• Leading in the management of the business resources and budget allocation for the business’s legal
• activity.
• Secretary to the board of directors
• Mentor to key legal department staff, encouraging their professional growth and career growth.
• Provide senior leadership across the business with strategic and operational guidance, aiding them in the management of litigation issues such as contract disputes and product liability,
• Reviewing and providing advice to the business upon request on matters concerning applicable contracts required for operation of the business.

Minimum qualifications, experience and competencies: –

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law from an accredited law school and at least five(5) years of working experience in a legal corporate environment
• A master’s degree in Law will be an added advantage
• A Member of the Certified Public Secretaries;
• Secretary to the Board of Directors
• Must possess a valid practicing certificate;
• Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law;
• Be a Registered member of the Law Society of Kenya in good standing
