Our client is a fast-growing supply chain business transforming the distribution of fresh produce and essential goods across Kenya. We are seeking a highly competent and commercially astute finance professional to lead our financial function and support the company’s next phase of growth.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational execution, ensuring financial discipline, efficiency, and scalability across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all financial operations including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business growth objectives
• Provide commercial insights to support pricing, sourcing, and distribution decisions
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost optimization across the supply chain
• Establish and strengthen internal controls, financial systems, and reporting structures
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for management and stakeholders
• Oversee audits, tax compliance, and statutory requirements
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve efficiency and margins
• Build and manage a high-performing finance team

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• CPA (K) / ACCA qualification is mandatory
• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in a finance role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position
• Proven experience in supply chain, FMCG, distribution, or agri-business is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of financial modelling, budgeting, and cost control
• Experience setting up or improving financial systems and processes
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability
