A fast-growing e-commerce/tech company is hiring a Head of Engineering to lead technical strategy, oversee product delivery, mentor engineers, and scale high-performance platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years in software development
- 2+ years in engineering leadership
- Experience building large-scale digital products
- Strong full-stack background
- Knowledge of modern architectures, cloud platforms, and scalable systems
- Strong leadership, communication, project, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable balancing strategy + hands-on execution in fast-paced environments
Bonus skills:
- Experience with Cloudflare Workers, Elasticsearch, or BigQuery
- Familiarity with M-Pesa/payment integrations
- Background in grocery, food-tech, logistics, or last-mile delivery
- Experience building engineering teams from scratch
