You will play a key role in weaving together the efforts of our Head of Departments: F&B, Guiding, Guest Experience, Kitchen, and Housekeeping into one harmonious rhythm of guest delight. This role reports to the General Manager.

  • Oversee daily lodge operations, ensuring excellence and consistency across all guest touchpoints.
  • Lead and support the lodge department heads, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Monitor and improve operational systems for efficiency without losing sight of the warmth and joy of service and guest experience.
  • Champion guest feedback, resolving concerns with honesty, courage, and respect.
  • Partner with HR and Training to build and sustain strong, motivated teams.
  • Work with the Chief Marketing Officer and Guest Experience Curator to drive the level of excellence in taking care of guests for which Angama has become known.
  • Support the General Manager in long–term planning, budgeting, and strategic projects.
  • Uphold Angama’s values in every decision, placing people at the heart of operations.
  • A people–first leader, able to inspire, mentor, and empower diverse teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in senior lodge or hospitality management.
  • Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams in high–end safari or hospitality settings.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for conservation, community, and creating unforgettable guest experiences
