This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi for a Graphic Designer. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing creative assets across various platforms, developing and maintaining brand guidelines, and producing visual materials to support marketing campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include creating graphic content for digital and print media, collaborating with teams to deliver effective visual communication, and ensuring consistency in all branding efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Content Creation
- Develop digital and print designs including social media graphics, presentations, reports, website visuals, and marketing materials.
- Create motion graphics, GIFs, and short animations where needed.
- Collaborate with photography and videography teams to enhance visual storytelling.
Brand Consistency & Identity Management
- Maintain a cohesive visual identity across all platforms
- Refine brand assets and templates to keep them modern and competitive.
- Ensure all visuals align with Nabo Capital’s brand guidelines.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work with content, social media, and digital strategy teams on campaign visuals.
- Translate complex investment concepts into visually appealing infographics.
- Deliver design assets on time for all campaigns.
Creative Innovation
- Stay updated on design trends and industry best practices.
- Innovate and experiment with new styles and formats.
- Contribute ideas during creative and campaign brainstorming sessions
Qualifications
- Graphic Design and Visual Communication skills, including experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Creativity and ability to develop original concepts for branding and marketing materials
- Strong knowledge of layout design, typography, and color theory
- Experience in producing visuals for both digital and print platforms
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively within a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the financial or investment sector is a plus
