Job Summary/Objective:

To provide support to the Finance Department by assisting in the execution of core finance functions including Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Taxation, and SAP system processes. The trainee will gain hands-on experience and knowledge in financial operations while contributing to the team’s overall goals.

Accounts Payables

  • Assist in posting local supplier invoices and credit notes in the accounting system.
  • Perform supplier statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy of payables.
  • Maintain and file payment-related documents for easy retrieval and audit support.
  • Assist in the maintenance and updating of fixed asset files.
  • Support payment processing, including preparation of payment vouchers.
  • Assist in the posting and reconciliation of loan amortizations.

Accounts Receivables

  • Post customer credit notes and receipts accurately in the system.
  • Assist in reconciliations of customer accounts to ensure up-to-date records.
  • Maintain professional customer relations to support credit control and resolution of queries.
  • Support in the follow-up and collection of outstanding receipts.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of monthly bank reconciliations.

Taxation

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of VAT returns.
  • Support timely filing of Withholding Tax returns.
  • Participate in the preparation and submission of Excise Duty returns.

SAP System Training

  • Undergo structured training on SAP financial modules relevant to business operations.
  • Assist in General Ledger (GL) account postings under supervision.
  • Gain hands-on experience in navigating SAP for data entry and financial transaction processing.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA Part II or higher. Candidates
  • should have graduated within the last three years.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability
